Apple Walnut Gruyere Quesedilla
"Fall brings apples and finding delicious ways to enjoy them. Gala Apples are my apple of choice. They’re a good eating apple as well as baking apple and are always in the fridge. Apple Walnut Gruyere Quesadillas combine two of my favorite Fall ingredients, apples and walnuts with Gruyere Cheese. What a delicious treat this is!The crispness of the quesadilla along with the apples ,buttery, soft, melting Gruyere cheese , walnuts and a slight bit of brown sugar is amazing! I’m a firm believer than anything you can make with apples you can make with pears. Switch the apples for pears, use pecans or the nut of your choice instead of walnuts. You can also switch the Gruyere Cheese out to another soft cheese that pairs well with fruit. Quick and easy to make, Apple Walnut Gruyere Quesadillas can be made as a delicious snack or an appetizer for football season or office parties. Apple Walnut Gruyere Quesadillas…Enjoy!"
